BIBL 4621-3: Society of Pentecostal Studies Conference

Date:  February 29 – March 3, 2012

This class is planning a trip to the SPS Conference:  Regent University, Virginia Beach, VA, “Pentecostalism, Peacemaking, and Social Justice/Righteousness” on February 29 through March 3, 2012.  Attached course fee for seminar is $850.00.  Contact Blaine Charette for more information about this course and prerequisites.

PMIN 4223: Preaching II

Date:  February 17 – 24, 2012

The Preaching II and Preaching to Children students take a one week trip to Southern California where they take part in the Purpose Driven Summit at Saddleback Church and visit eight different church worship services. A trip to an amusement park adds to the unforgettable experience.  Prerequisite:  PMIN 4213 Preaching I.   Contact Alan Ehler, 425/889.5254  for further information.

BIBL 3893: Flying Seminar/Biblical Lands Experience

Date:  May 10 – June 3, 2012

A course to prepare students for an on-site tour of selected Bible Lands at the conclusion of the semester.  The seminar is a survey of the Bible lands with special emphasis on their biblicva, historical, geographical, archaeological, and cultural associations.  Prerequisite:  BIBL 1103 OT History & Literature, BIBL 1203 NT History & Literature.  Travel and experience “Peter’s Communities In Their Historical and Geographical Setting”  The itinerary is designed to visit the areas mentioned by Peter in his first letter.  Experience Peter’s communities addressed in 1 Peter 1:1, Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia.  Your trip will begin and end in Istanbul, one of the world’s most exotic cities full of historic buildings and important museums.  You won’t want to miss this trip.  Deadline for full payment of the trip will be announced and is covered by your course fee of $3400.00.  Passport required.  Brochures will be available in the College of Ministry Office in Bronson 11.  Contact Sheila Josephson at 425-889-5253.
