Northwest Drama

Study Drama at Northwest University

Seattle is know as one of the top cities in the nation for theater and Northwest University connects with this acting community. Many of our drama professors are professional actors. We network with local theater’s in taping help with productions and instruction.

Northwest University’s tradition of excellence in the dramatic arts provides students with challenging and fun opportunities to express your love for acting.

Students at Northwest are engaged in hands-on involvement with each production.  Apart from on-stage participation, Northwest offers students positions of involvement and leadership in lighting, sound, make-up, stage engineering, props, house management, concessions, and advertisement.

We also have an Improv club that is one of the most popular student lead activities.

In the spring semester NU Drama students enjoyed Thursday Night Improv as well as took part in our NU Film Review short film contest.

And, you might like to spend a semester in Los Angeles at the CCCU film studies program. The LAFSC program now has an acting track in addition to film.

You are welcome to attend shows of NU Thursday Night Improv! at 9 PM in Millard Drama Hall.
