The Ernestine Rice Library
The Ernestine Rice Memorial Children’s Library is in dedication to Professor Ernestine Rice, a most beloved Educator, Colleague and friend to Northwest University who is genuinely missed.
I have the privilege of maintaining and coordinating the Ernestine Rice Library in order to better serve Students enrolled in the School of Education. Should you have any questions or concerns in regards to the Ernestine Library, please feel free to ask!
The Ernestine Rice Library consists of a wide variety of young readers’ books. Anywhere from Winnie the Pooh, to Astronomy, Fiction to Nonfiction, Poetry to Biography, Newbery to Caldecott Award winners, beginners or advanced literature, we offer what we hope to be essential to your teaching needs in the classroom. Our library also features a plethora of Teacher’s Educational and Professional booklets. Whatever your teaching endorsement might include, we probably have just the book to help you through your studies and delve into exactly what your teaching future might encompass. Simply stop by our Office in the Rice Building to see if we might have what you’re looking for, or feel free to browse our electronic library from home.
