By making this application you agree to do your best to follow the goals of the Northwest Intercollegiate Debate League within the divisions sanctioned.  Unless we request sanctioning for all divisions, we understand that we may offer debate that does not meet the League objectives in the unsanctioned divisions.

In submitting your application you affirm the following:

1. Debate is a public speaking event that should be accessible to a general, well educated audience.
2. Agree with the principles of the NIDL Charter that debate should be non technical and strive to mimic argumentation in the public sphere.
3. When possible you will attempt to hire judges that agree with the NIDL Charter.
4. You welcome the video taping of final rounds with the intention that such videos will be made available to administrators of participating institutions.
