What is the Academic Success and Advising Center?

Our office provides:

  • General support, tools and workshops on Time Management, Study Skills and Test Taking Strategies.
  • General academic advising, change of major counseling, minors and General Studies information.
  • Coordination of classroom accommodations for students with disabilities.
  • Coordination of tutoring.
  • Assistance with Academic Petitions.
  • Support and tracking of students on Academic Probation.
  • Testing Services for classroom accommodated or makeup exams.
  • Coordination of documentation for International Students.

 

Come visit us if you need:

  • To Add/Drop or Withdraw from a class
  • To sign up for a tutoring appointment
  • To talk to someone about changing your major/minor/concentration
  • A copy of any Degree Requirement Plan
  • A semester calendar or weekly schedule worksheet
  • To make up an exam/test and have permission from your professor
  • To review a test and work with someone on how to do better next time
  • Ideas or help on how to study after a class, test, or assignment
  • Your I-20 signed (International Students)
