Campus Agreement

Northwest University Information Services is pleased to offer the Microsoft Campus Agreement program for Microsoft Software. This annual subscription-based license agreement provides for the right-to-use licensing of the current Microsoft Windows operating system, and the current Microsoft Office software suite. Northwest University’s Microsoft Campus Agreement covers all currently enrolled students and actively employed faculty and staff.

This is truly a wonderful opportunity for current NU students, faculty, and staff to take advantage of having access to the latest-and-greatest of Microsoft software products. Graduating students are given a perpetual license, upon request, to the then current version of the software upon graduation from Northwest University. Students leaving Northwest University by means other than graduation and any faculty and staff leaving the employment of Northwest University must remove any Microsoft software obtained through this program at that time.

Please note that there are very specific and binding license requirements in effect between Northwest University and the Microsoft Corporation. Participation in the program demands that the user follow these licensing requirements in their entirety. Requirements are set forth in the User Agreement segment of the installation process. Users are strongly encouraged to review these requirements carefully before installing software, as both the individual and Northwest University are responsible to comply with licensing requirements.

Media Availability

Official Microsoft installation media (CDs and/or DVDs) for this software is available for purchase at the University Bookstore. The current versions of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office are available for purchase. (Microsoft Office is available in either the Mac or PC version)

Each person eligible for the program is covered for one installed copy of the current Microsoft Windows operating system and one installed copy of the current Microsoft Office suite, in either the Mac or Windows version. The installation media available in the Bookstore does not include licensing. The individual product keys attached to the media are for installation use and do not provide license coverage for the product. License coverage is provided as stated above – one license per product to current NU students, faculty and staff only.
