Instructional Technology Center (ITC)

The Instructional Technology Center (ITC) is more than an office. It is the provision of training and support for instructional technology that takes place when and where it is needed.
Stop by my office in Rice 25 or call or email me any time you have a instructional technology question or concern.

CLASSROOM TECHNOLOGY
SMART Response Clickers:
Three sets of SMART Response Clickers are available:
2 sets (24 clickers in each set) in HSC (CAS office)
1 set (24 clickers) in Barton (IS office)
To request one or more sets use the Equipment Checkout Form. Choose Student Response (HSC) or Student Response (non-HSC) depending on where your class is located.
If you reserve the HSC clickers you may pick them up from the closet in the College of Arts & Sciences office. Please return them promptly after class so they are available for the next class. If you reserve the non-HSC set they can picked up in the IS office (Barton) unless you requested that they be delivered to your classroom. Again, please return them promply to the IS office so they will be available for the next class.

EAGLE CMS
Faculty information on the Northwest University web page is managed by College Advancement. To add or update content on your page email web@northwestu.edu. If you are updating content it is recommended that you copy the current information to Word and make changes using the “track change” option or highlight all the changes in a colored font.
All full-time faculty have a website on Eagle. Content can be added to your Eagle website using Eagle CMS and you can also add a blog to your website. Contact Lynette if you would like to schedule a time to learn how to add content to your Faculty website on Eagle.
