Flag – Sergeant Stacey

Governor Chris Gregoire has asked that flags be lowered to half-staff today, Wednesday, February 8, 2012, in memory of U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant William C. Stacey, 23, of Seattle, WA. Sergeant Stacey died on January 31, 2012 of injuries sustained from an improvised explosive device received while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif.
