While the University does not maintain a staff physician, the Director of Health Services will provide referrals to students needing the services of a physician.  Health Services is supervised by Eastside Family Health Center, P.S.

H1N1 Flu Vaccinations

Flu Vaccines are HERE!

Help prevent the spread of the flu and other illnesses by following these tips:

  • When you cough or sneeze, cover your nose and mouth with a tissue or your sleeve (if you do not have a tissue).
  • Throw used tissues in a trash can.
  • After you cough or sneeze, wash your hands with soap and water, or use an alcohol-based hand gel.
  • Regularly sanitize surfaces such as countertops, doorknobs, and phone hand-sets.
  • Stay home if you are exhibiting symptoms, and stay home for at least 24 hours after the fever has ended.

If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, or if you have been diagnosed with H1N1 or seasonal flu, please call the NU Flu-Hotline at 800.318.2139.

For more information on the flu, visit www.flu.gov or King County Health Services.
