Julia Young

About Me

I love to inspire the imaginations of my students through teaching both grammar classes and literature classes. I live in Bellevue with my husband, Mike, and proudly attend University Presbyterian Church in the University District of Seattle. In my free time I enjoy reading and writing, and I’m often on Facebook chatting with alumni or writing a blog. Excellence in English is very important to me, as I am the founding faculty sponsor of Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society, at Northwest University.

My current project is a play entitled “Shakespeare Brewed and Skewed” which debuted on the stage at Northwest University in 2008. I am still revising and editing the script, which I hope to publish at some point in the future.
