Clubs and organizations are student initiated groups that provide members with opportunity to explore interest areas and practice meaningful leadership. The NUSG Senate has chartered a significant and growing number of officially recognized groups at Northwest. Unlike unauthorized groups, these officially recognized chartered groups may petition the Senate for funds and are approved to meet on campus through the University’s room reservation process.
What are Clubs and Organizations?
Clubs are a recognized group of students that aim to build community, contribute to student life, and enrich the student body by facilitating opportunities for students in a particular interest area. Organizations are groups that are connected with an university department or local, regional, or national organization.
