Vice President of Activities – Lauren Curry
Hometown: Tacoma, WA
Major: Organizational Communications with a minor in Intercultural Studies
Why did you apply for your position? I am passionate about community, having fun and connecting. I wanted to somehow get involved and knew this would be the perfect position to apply for!
What are you most excited for this year through SAB? I am not only excited to meet the new students of 2016 but also to bring in new, fun activities that will unite NU and give everyone an opportunity to be apart of the exciting things going on!

Director of Special Events – Joy Moats
Hometown: Hayden, ID
Major: Intercultural Studies
Why did you apply for your position? SAB works so hard to make college events a great part of the NU experience; I wanted to participate in that.
What are you most excited for this year through SAB? Bringing joy to NU students through amazing campus activities! I also know I will be meeting so many new and interesting people, so I hope I will develop lasting relationships with each one.

Major: Music Ministry
Why did you apply for your position? I applied for SAB because I wanted to be a part of continuing to represent and empower the student body to provide activities that facilitate the establishment and nurturing of relationships.
What are you most excited for this year through SAB ? I can’t wait to contribute in creating an exciting, positive experience for NU students.

Director of Performance Events – Ashley Wells
Hometown: Salem, OR
Major: Youth Ministry
Why did you apply for your position? I applied for my position, because I enjoy leadership and I love planning events!
What are you most excited for this year through SAB? I am most excited to grow closer to my team and help students make connections. In the past, leadership teams have helped me be at my best and grow exponentially. I am excited to see where this year leads!

Hometown: Salem, Oregon
Major: Environmental Science
Why did you apply for your position? It is obviously the best and most fun, I get to go on hikes for free.
What are you most excited for this year through SAB? Campus Challenge

Director of Recreation Sports – Josh Pineda
Hometown: Kirkland
Major: Contemporary Music Industry
Why did you apply for your position? I love sports and played a lot of sports in high school. As a leader I am always seeking to improve and help others become more involved, so this position came naturally. I want to give everyone a fun and also competitive experience through intramural sports and other recreational activities.
What are you most excited for this year through SAB? I am most excited to see a lot more students become involved and truly enjoy their experience here. I am excited to see everyone have an incredibly fun time and do more things!!

Major: Intercultural Studies
Why did you apply for your position? I applied for my position in SAB because I wanted to use my creative skills to help students feel like they belong to the community of NU.
What are you most excited for this year through NUSGSAB I am most excited for the late nights of hard work to put on events and the comradery we will all be a part of because of it!

Director or Videography – Andrew Robertson
Hometown: Reedley, CA
Major: Pastoral Ministry and Biblical Studies
Why did you apply for your position: I applied for this position because I love getting involved with student activities and I also love creating humorous and enjoyable videos – so it’s kinda the best of both worlds. Is this my bio right here?
What are you most excited for this year through SAB? Screaming Eagles Week, for sure. 500 Ducks – Quack! Quack! Quack!
