Loving family seeks part time caregiving help for our lovely 15yr old daughter. She suffers from seizures and is significantly developmentally delayed, functioning at the cognition of a 10 month old. She can walk but has basically no communication abilities. She is very sweet and a joy to be around! Tasks would include feeding, diapering, dressing, bathing, her laundry & food prep and other small tasks pertaining to her. A caregiver would also help accompany her family on occasional outings. We are seeking help 3 week days per week from 3-7pm. This job is partly paid for by the state and requires 75 hours of paid training (you complete 5 hours before beginning to work and the remaining 70 hours can be completed at your own rate over the course of 120 days). The training is not as complicated as it sounds! The state pays for those training hours at about $12/hour. All caregiving hours we will supplement what is paid to bring the total to $18/hour before tax. Please contact Janae at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested or have questions. There is a possibility we can change the hours a bit it that would make it more doable. Thanks!
