DuFord is set to release her album in April |
The Scene
With a voice blessed by heaven, this artist sings inspirational songs of her walk with God through life’s trials and tribulations. Amanda DuFord has been playing music her whole life, and will be releasing her first album this spring.
Taught to play piano and sing by her mother, DuFord performs everywhere from churches, to dimly lit jazz lounges. “When I was a little kid my mom would know I was okay if she could hear my singing,” said DuFord.

Dear Drake,
I’m in a committed relationship but have a few questions. What suggestions
do you have on setting boundaries? Do you think that they are appropriate,
even though we are young adults? Any insight would be helpful.
Signed,

Dear Helpless Romantic,
Boundaries are good regardless of age. However, not all boundaries apply equally to everyone. As a young adult you are looked up to by your younger peers, especially if you are in a position of leadership. It is important to set the boundaries between you and your significant other. You lead by your actions. It’s vital that you stay true to one another. Be honest and open with one another. We are only human, so be ready to forgive. I remember my old pastor, married 50 years, once said, “When my wife and I disagree, we don’t let our differences come between us, but talk it out.” Be open minded and teachable, this goes for both men and women. Learn to have a good fight, and walk on enjoying each other’s company.
Best Regards,
Drake
