Seattle is known as one of the top cities in the nation for theater. At Northwest University Theatre, we network with this acting community, and many of our drama professors are professional actors. NU Theatre’s tradition of excellence in the dramatic arts provides you with challenging and fun opportunities to express your love for acting.
As a student involved in theatre, you will be engaged in hands-on involvement with each production. Apart from on-stage participation, NU Theatre offers students opportunities of innovation and leadership in lighting, sound, make-up, stage engineering, props, house management, concessions, and advertisement.
We also have our ever popular student-led improv group, End Scene Improv! You can see them perform live every Thursday night at 9 pm in the Hobson Theatre at Millard Hall. Check out the links on the side to find out more.
