Not unlike your favorite TED Talks, FIH is designed to give students and faculty an opportunity to present their ideas of faith, culture, and education to an interactive audience. You will hear short presentations of both academic and creative (short story, poetry) genres and have the opportunity to ask questions.

This event is not limited to members of the NU community. Rather, it’s open to everyone who is interested in learning and sharing knowledge, so invite all your friends and family!

In conjunction with FIH, the English Department presents the annual Sigma Tau Delta Writing Contest. The contest, established to honor Professor Emeritus Julia Young, is open to current Northwest University undergraduates and is designed to encourage and reward excellence in creative and academic writing. Winners will be announced at the FIH conference.

Details for submissions may be found here.

Chapel credit is available to all NU students.
