Web Browser Compatibility

Most online resources at Northwest University are web browser-agnostic, allowing you to use the application of your preference.  However, the services that require a specific browser are listed on this page.

Discovery

• Most browsers work, but we have found Mozilla Firefox (Windows or Mac) works the best for some functionality.

Turnitin

• Turnitin recommends Mozilla Firefox (Windows or Mac) for the best experience.

Outlook Web App (Employee E-Mail)

• The Outlook Web App will work with most browsers, but the full feature set is only available using Internet Explorer for Windows.
• On mobile devices, we recommend the Microsoft Outlook app, though most e-mail and calendar functionality is available through native or other apps.
