The Residence Life staff at NU is committed to helping you find your place in an intentional, personalized community where we all strive to be more like Christ.  Not only that, but you get to live in one of the most naturally beautiful places in the country – the Pacific Northwest!

Residence Life Mission Statement

Our Mission – Through Christ-like service we will work to create and maintain an environment in the residence halls and student apartments that promotes the overall mission of the institution and shape a Christ centered living, learning community in order to encourage relational and spiritual development.

Our Vision – We hope students BELIEVE in Christ Jesus and become grounded and rooted in their identity as God’s beloved children; we hope students experience a safe, encouraging and Biblical community where they feel like they can BELONG; we hope students BECOME the person God has created them to be and are given room to grow and discover.

Our Goal – We hope that new and returning residential students will be challenged relationally, emotionally, spiritually and culturally through community and experiences provided by Residence Life teams.
