Guest Registration

Below is the typical Guest Registration Policy for NU Residence Halls and Student Apartments. However, due to COVID-19 restrictions, NO overnight guests are permitted in NU Residence Halls and Student Apartments until further notice. 

To ensure proper living area security, a filled out Guest Registration Form is required for any person above the age of 18 who is staying after 12:00 midnight any night of the week.  Guest forms are available from any Resident Assistant (RA) or Area Coordinator (AC) and should be filled out and turned in at least 24 hours in advance by the host NU student to the RA on-call for prior approval by the AC.

Reminders about guests:

  • The host is responsible for the actions of the guest at all times.
  • Door codes should not be given out to guests at any time.
  • A guest may stay for three nights per semester without charge, following that time approval must be received from the Area Coordinator.
