The Japan Exchange and Teaching Program offers young professionals the opportunity to work in Japan as Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) or Coordinators for International Relations (CIRs).  Since 1987, more than 70,000 JET Program participants from 75 countries have lived and worked in cities, towns, and villages throughout Japan.  Join JET and become part of this exclusive network of like-minded international enthusiasts!  A notable alum of this program is Prof. Joe McQueen.

  • Presentations: 2:00-2:30pm or 2:30-3:00pm
  • Drop-In and Q&A: 3:00-4:00pm


To apply for the 2022 JET Program, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree – in any field – by August 15, 2022.  Japanese language proficiency, although helpful, is NOT required for this position.
