Sharing at the folder level saves time—you only need to set permissions once instead of adjusting access for each file individually.
Yes, all files and subfolders within the parent folder will be accessible to the group. If you post the link to individual files in your course, only enrolled students will have access.
No. Students will only see the specific file you’ve shared. Other files in the same folder remain private unless shared separately.
By default, files are view-only and downloadable. If you want students to collaborate or make changes, change the sharing permissions to “Can edit.”
