Background
Alisha is an emergency department physician assistant of eight years who is passionate about glorifying God and serving others. She has always enjoyed teaching, and has taught high school speech and debate, anatomy and physiology, and introduction to medical skills. On the weekends, she is involved in disaster relief, serves in women’s and children’s ministry, and writes Bible studies and mystery rooms for her church and youth group. A native New Mexican, Alisha enjoys bouldering, hiking, and caving, and has a wonderful family, including six nephews, to do these things with her. At the moment, she is reading Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s Cost of Discipleship and would highly recommend.
