Bio

Dr. Brittany Speck’s professional experiences include expertise in adolescent and young adult residential mental health, specializing in attachment-based family therapy, trauma-informed care, and cognitive-behavioral therapy for at-risk youth and families. She has a strong background in higher education, particularly in supporting first-generation college students. Additionally, she has worked with populations experiencing serious mental illness and has supported the development of training programs for staff working with criminogenic populations, along with establishing policies for competency-to-stand-trial evaluations within the state system. Dr. Speck also serves as a psychological consultant for the X-Foundation, a fentanyl awareness non-profit. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and camping with her dog, as well as painting.
