Background
Dr. Lucas is passionate about equipping teachers to effectively engage the next generation. She has taught in both public and private K-12 settings, with subjects ranging from pre-K drama to high school world literature. Since 2019, she has worked in the College of Education as a faculty member, field supervisor, and master in teaching program lead. Her current research interests include technology in teacher preparation, classroom presence, and the role of humor in the classroom.
