Getting to NU

Please look at the Arrival page on what documents you need to bring to enter the United States.  If you are a CELE, undergraduate, or short-term student, ISS may be able to pick you up from the airport.  Let us know your arrival information.

*Please note that NU is not in Seattle but near Seattle.  The Seattle-Tacoma Airport is approximately 30-40 minutes by car with no traffic from NU.

To get to NU from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport

• By bus – Take the Link Light Rail from the airport to the International District Station.  Then get on the 255 bus towards the Brickyard Park & Ride.  Get off the 255 bus in front of the main Northwest University entrance in Kirkland, WA.
• By taxi – There are taxis at the airport.  It is cheaper to use a ride-hailing app such as Uber or Lyft though.  You can also schedule a ride from the Shuttle Express, which is like a taxi van.

*Once you arrive, please check in with the International Student Services office in the Hurst 1st floor (basement)*
