Please look at the Housing website for detailed information.
The CELE program will automatically register you for housing for your first semester. If you want to live off campus, you will need to request to do so. If you want to live in the apartments, you will need to request to do so as well if you are not married or are under 25 years old. Most CELE students live in the dorms because it gives students opportunities to interact and make new friends.
International undergraduate students will need to complete a housing application (see housing website). In order to complete this application, students must be accepted into the university and registered for classes first. Like CELE students, most undergraduate students live in the dorms until they are juniors or seniors where they would transition to the apartments. If you want to live off campus or do not want to live in the dorms, you will have to request to do so.
The university does not require international graduate students to live on campus. If graduate students do want to live on campus, they can request to live in married housing in the apartments. If a graduate student is under 25 and does want to live in the dorms, they will need to request to do so as well.
