Welcome Weekend Leadership Opportunities

Get Excited – we are hiring for Welcome Weekend 2026!!

Welcome Weekend Leaders (WWL): We are looking for approximately 50 students who are interested in welcoming in our brand new class this fall by being a Welcome Weekend Leader! This breaks down to roughly 40 students who will be group leaders and 10 students who will be part of our logistics team (behind the scenes). Additionally, if you are interested in being a Peer Mentor for UCOR, please indicate this in your application.

We are looking for current students who are committed to serving new students with encouragement and engagement as they transition to NU! A new students’ Welcome Weekend experience and first semester is an incredible time for them to be introduced to NU life – meeting new friends, getting involved, and acclimating to our community. We desire to build a team of current students to serve as Welcome Weekend Leaders (and Peer Mentors) who are genuinely interested in building lasting connections by setting the tone for new students’ experience.
