  • Manic, confused, or incoherent speech

  • Other concerning behaviors not listed

Does your student exhibit any of these behaviors? If so, please submit a referral form to the Student Care Group.

What is the Student Care Group?

The Student Care Group is here to help you and the student; it is a cross-departmental committee that meets regularly to discuss, assess, and manage cases when a student exhibits concerning behavior. The group is the centralized body that receives reports of student concern – related to student wellbeing, safety, and/or success – and works together to thoughtfully and holistically support the student.

If you are an NU employee or student who is concerned about a student, please complete the report form via Bridge to notify the student care group of your concern.

How do I login to Bridge?

  • Go to https://northwestu.pharos360.com/
  • The site uses your NU username and password. Username is just first.last and does not include the @northwestu.edu portion.

How can I send a referral to the Student Care Group via Bridge?

  • Locate and click on the Send Alert button with the life preserver icon.
  • Search for the appropriate student using their name or student ID. Click on the Send Alert icon next to their name.
  • Complete the New Referral form. (Please be mindful that some fields are required and denoted with an asterisk, including the yellow box to the left under the student’s ID photo.)
  • Once you have completed the form, click Preview
  • After you’ve verified that the information is accurate, click Submit. You will receive a thank you email verifying that your referral has been received.

Below is a list of helpful campus resources available to all students. In the event you have any questions, or it becomes appropriate for you to refer a student, please feel free to contact these offices directly. However, if you are not certain where to begin, please complete the Send Alert form in Bridge and a member of the Student Care Group can reach out to you directly.
