Computer Specifications and Laptop Requirements

All nursing courses require the ExamSoft testing platform. ExamSoft is a secure computer based testing environment using a software download know as Examplify. 

Students must have access to a fully functioning laptop computer that meets the Examplify minimum system requirements listed on their website.

• • Examplify can be used on most modern Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X based computers (purchased within the last 3-4 years).
  • Examplify cannot run in virtual environments (NU computer labs).
  • Examplify cannot run on Chrome, Android, or Linux operating systems.
