Immunizations Requirements – 2026 Cohort
Below you will find a list of the immunizations students in the Buntain School of Nursing (BSON) are required to document. This list is taken from the CDC Healthcare Personnel Vaccination Recommendations, the Washington State Clinical Placements consortium, and contracts with our clinical agencies. The BSON reserves the right to require additional immunizations in the event of a public health emergency, updated CDC recommendations for vaccinations or health screenings, or clinical site placement requirements.
Immunization requirements for nursing students are determined by our clinical partners and may change at any time without prior notice. These requirements are based on current public health guidance and site-specific policies intended to protect patients, staff, and students.
The Buntain School of Nursing does not have the authority to grant exemptions or make exceptions to any immunization requirements established by clinical sites. All students must remain in compliance with current immunization standards in order to participate in clinical experiences. Failure to meet these requirements may result in a delay or inability to progress in the program.
